So where is this Aeroclub anyway?

Umm Al Quwain Aeroclub is based in the United Arab Emirates and is the only dropzone in the emirates. AFF course currently costs 8000 Dhs which is about 1100 pounds sterling or 2200 USD. Below is a satellite image of the dropzone and also a short promo video made for the club.

This is Basia’s tandem video, taken from her jump at the Aeroclub in Umm Al Quwain where I will be doing the AFF course in January 2008. After she did this jump she said she would like to do AFF with me. There is also another guy wanting to do his AFF. The three of us doing the course together should mean we can support and motivate each other. I hope. Basia has another tandem jump on Jan 4th, 2008 which she said determine whether she wants to do her AFF. Only time will tell.
