…the weather has cleared and we have just had two days of sunshine in Umm Al Quwain. The Emirates saw a massive amount of rain in the past week. To some people, the rain was seen as a blessing. To others, it caused pain and heartache as it meant that the drive to work took four hours instead of one. For Basia, Prakash and myself, the rain delayed our AFF for a week. (aaargh!) I’ve never checked the weather forecast so much as I have in the past few days. As soon as the rain cleared we headed over to Umm Al Quwain to try and get our level 1-3 dives out of the way

Above you can see all the lovely water that fell from the sky. Some people though they could drive their cars through this waterlogged road. Below is the dropzone when we arrived the first day the sky cleared. Boy were we happy.
